All thanks to the modern technology for blessing us with the number of gadgets we use these days. I have seen many young men and women walk down parks and green lanes with earphones and portable music systems or cell phones. The children are no exception. Right from the school to college the children of today posses cell phones. Yes they do. The kids are taking the mobile phones to school out of permission. They do anything to hide their new mobile from their teachers.

Is the use of modern day world gadget like mobile phones are really needed or we got obsessed to it? People don’t care much of this question these days. How will they do it when they have no spare time to think for such unanimous queries? It is mere waste of time if you ask a college going boy or girl switch off your phone for this evening. They will surely pull their hair out in hand if somebody tries to enter into their privacy.

This is the mind of next gen kids. “No life without mobile”. No matter what others think or happen the young, old, children and adults all are fully occupied with the mobile phones. Only a few or nobody knows or cares for disadvantages of using mobile. We think always that mobile phones provide a great level of convenience and safety to those who use it, but check out the following drawbacks.

Never-ending interruptions.

Sitting in a highly official meeting and suddenly somebody’s phone starts ringing right into your ear. It can be terribly annoying and frustrating when such a thing happens. How do you react to such a situation? We don’t like anyone’s interference in our important task. Do you? Also the same can be said about ringing cell phones at movie theaters, family gatherings, and yes, even weddings, like in the picture shown above.

It is a constant avenue for communication; they can interrupt at the most inconvenient of times, under the most inopportune of circumstances. This is certainly a major problem with the use of cell phones. It interrupts most important works and create disturbance most of the times.

Wrong influence on personal contact

Nine out of ten use mobile for keeping in touch the friends and social networking with the boom of internet. There is frequent exchange of messages and no time for family. Kids nowadays use mobile even in bathrooms. Parents often complain of this obsession that their children SLEEP with mobile EAT with mobile, PEE with mobile. The mobiles are their BEST BUDDIES. Playing games and listening to music gives pleasure and we get relax with our devices. It affects the personal contact at business meetings, casual outings, and other get-together.

Mobile driving

Number of accidents is occurring in all parts of the world. A quarter of share is with mobile phones. The people are obsessed with the machine in such a way that they don’t switch it off while driving. Receiving messages and replying on way and also call diversion of mind is very genuine. One need to understand that the driving with mobile popularly called as “Mobile Driving” is behind the accidents so be vigilant and drive.

Health effects

The reports claimed through research that mobile phone causes tumors and other diseases. The DNA damage, sleeplessness, eye cancer, infertility, cardiac problems, and chronic fatigue are said to be regular side effects of using mobile for long hours.
The evidence is still inconclusive, and cannot conclude but with an ongoing exposure of mobiles and its usage the symptoms of above disease and health problems are seen in most of the people.

Money eater animal

The countless new handsets are available and people are very enthusiastic to buy the very new and latest mobile. It is a MONEY EATER ANIMAL. We spend any thousands of money to get the new I-Pod or Blackberry and crave doesn’t die here. We wait for other models to hit market to put our hands on. Upgrading the mobile becomes necessity.

Hopefully all these disadvantages have comprehended many but still you and me cannot stop using the device as it is necessary. It is life savvy machine and obsessed material fo many. We can at least try to reduce the use of mobiles to some extent so that we are not addicted. Mobiles are here to stay…..or say many other devices or gadgets are yet to come to hamper you .try not to become a devotee.
